There is no specific way to get the World version of the card.

Mastercard has standard income requirements for the World version pf various co-branded cards they offer.

If you have a minimum personal income of $60,000 or a household income of $100,000, chances are you’ll automatically get the complimentary upgrade to the World version of the CIBC Costco Mastercard.
